Scope

The scope covers the broad field of agricultureincluding Agronomy, Crop Science and Production,Crop Protection, Entomology, Horticulture, Animal S c i e n c e a n d P r o d u c t i o n , P l a n tBreeding/Biotechnology, Soil Science, Fisheries /Aquaculture, Forestry, Agro-forestry, AgriculturalEconomics, Agricultural Extension and RuralSociology, Food Science, Agricultural Education.Others areas are Environmental Sciences, Geography,Environmental Biology, Geology, Agro meteorology,Agricultural Engineering, Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Education, Applicationsof Remote Sensing, Geographic Information System(GIS), and Crop Modeling in Agriculture and Climate Change.

Electronic submission of manuscripts is stronglyencouraged; provided that the text, tables, and figuresare included in a single Microsoft Word file(preferably in Times New Roman font). For papersaccepted for publication, it is essential that theelectronic version of the manuscript and artworkmatch the hardcopy exactly! The quality and accuracyof the content of the electronic material submitted iscrucial since the content is converted into the finalpublished version.

Manuscript submission: Submit manuscripts as e-mail attachment to the Editorial Office at: ajae.foa@uniabuja.edu.ng.   A manuscript number will be mailed to thecorresponding author same day or within 72 hours. Manuscript submitted must be previouslyunpublished and should not be under consideration byanother journal. By virtue of submission thecorresponding author acknowledges that all otherauthors have seen and approved the final version ofthe manuscript.

The cover letter should include the correspondingauthor’s full address and telephone/fax numbers andshould be in an e-mail message sent to the Editor, withthe file, whose name should begin with the firstauthor’s surname, as an attachment. The authors mayalso suggest two to four reviewers for the manuscriptAJAE may designate other reviewers. The AbujaJournal of Agriculture and Environment will onlyaccept manuscripts submitted as e-mail attachments.
